You will need to limit areas where it can grow easily. Mold likes dark, damp areas. This is why you often get mold growth in a basement that isn’t properly ventilated. In some cases, it might be necessary to install fans to get airflow going. You should also fix any leaks and clean up spills as soon as possible since these will provide fertile breeding grounds for mold spores.
